An invigorating stay in the Rhodopes' Mountain, ?€?The Orpheus' Paradise?€?

Day 1 (Saturday): Sofia – Plovdiv

Arrival at the airport of Sofia where we will welcome you. Transfer to Plovdiv (165 km). Accommodation in a 3*hotel, dinner out and night in the hotel.

Day 2 (Sunday): Ghela (or Krastatitsa)

Breakfast and departure for Ghela (or Krastatitsa), a picturesque village in the mountain of Rhodopes. Installation in a splendid traditional guest house. Lunch in the house. In the afternoon: relaxation and possibility to get a treatment in the Spa center (included in your package). Dinner and nignt in the guest house.

Day 3 (Monday): Smolyan (19km)

Breakfast in the guest house then departure for Smolyan. This city keeps a legacy of the past, a must-see to visit. Walk in the old town, rich in typical houses of the time of the National Awakening. Lunch in a local restaurant.

Continuation for the visit of the Planetarium of Smolyan, the biggest in Bulgaria. Then stop in front of the Museum of art of Sredna Gora (or the Art gallery of the city). Return to Ghela (or Krastatitsa). Dinner and night in the house.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Pamporovo

Breakfast in the guest house and departure for Pamporovo, one of the two most prestigious Bulgarian winter stations, to only 15 km from your lodging. Throughout the year a large range of sports activities are waiting for you. In summer or autumn, come to benefit from the pure fresh air during an excursion in nature. In winter one day of ski will be proposed to you or an excursion in snowshoes, at your choice. Lunch in the outdoor. Return to Ghela (or Krastatitsa), dinner and night in the guest house.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Ghela (or Krastatitsa)

Day devoted to rest, well-being and sports activities to choose from.

In summer: your hotel proposes to you the hiring of moutain bikes and bikes. In winter benefit from the snow with skiing, snowboarding or motor biking. Evening, dinner and night in the guest house.

NB: the hiring of a mountain bike or a pair of skis costs 10 € per day.

Day 6 (Thursday): Plovdiv

Breakfast in the house and departure for Plovdiv. Lunch in a traditional restaurant. Walk in the city and discovery of the central street with its modern boutiques and shops for souvenirs. Continuation to the old city and visit of its XVIII century multicoloured small houses. A special dinner in a prestigious restaurant of the city. Night in a 3* hotel.

Day 7 (Friday): Sofia – France

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport of Sofia according to the schedules of your return flight. If the schedule of the flight allows it, a walk in the capital will be proposed to you.
